Arguably the most successful Hip-Hop group of 2009, Young Money had two radio smash hits with "Bed Rock" and "Every Girl In The World". Of course with lead member being superstar Lil Wayne, the album poises to be a great set-up for future stars Drake and Nicki Minaj. Check out street bangers "Roger That" and "Pass The Dutchie".

Original Hot Boy and former Cash Money artist, B.G. had an official album listening session in New York City at Chung King Studios for his E1 Release - Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood. The album is really hot and my favorite track on the album is "Back to the Money". And with guest appearances from Young Jeezy and T.I., this album is sure not to disappoint true B.G. fans. And as a surprise, Jim Jones and Maino stopped by the studio to show their support. A great night of Hip-Hop, New Orleans style.

Day 2: The Jordin Sparks Experience and the Playboy Party at the Sagamore!
Written by Jerry "Mr. Live-N-Direct" Bagley

After a great first night hanging out in the studio with Pharrell, I was quietly thinking to myself how are you gonna top this? It was a helluva way to start your Superbowl week off with a BANG! Lol.

But for me, Live-N-Direct and my partners, Lerer Media, it was back to the business at hand. Live-N-Direct partnered up as a media sponsor in conjunction with Jordin Sparks to be a part of this year's 4th Annual Jordin Sparks Experience during Superbowl weekend as a charity event that was helping to give back to the Miami Children's Hospital.  READ MORE>>>

Okay, I arrived in Miami from New York and to be honest, I was just happy to get away from all the super, extra, cold 20 degree weather of the Big Apple and enjoy the warm tropical breeze of the Sunshine State.
Unfortunately, the first day after I arrived I was met in Miami with torrential downpours! Lol! I leave one miserable climate and now am entering another one? WTF! I thought to myself, am I in the middle of hurricane season or something in Miami? Shit, I didn't see this much rain since Noah's Ark!  READ MORE>>
The Grammys - Who's Hot & Who's Not

The Grammys were a mixed bag last night with a few wins at the podium that left music experts and music lovers alike scratching their heads.

The performance highlights of the evening had to be Beyonce with a bevy of soldiers at her side coupled with an electrifying stage
presence. Then there was Lady Gaga's weird, but aesthetically satisfying performance where she "killed" herself for what felt like the millionth time this year, and then joined Elton John later for an
unlikely duet. And then there was Pink's over the top performance on what seemed like a high wire act dazzling the crowd with water splashing all over the place.

But what seemed like an anti-climatic ending to an already ho-hum show, the muched hyped live performance of "Forever" by Lil Wayne, Drake and Enimem was flat and sensored to the point you couldn't hear the song. The best moment had to be Pink's performance and one of the worst was what the Grammys considered a Michael Jackson tribute. How can you do a Michael Jackson tribute without any dancing? Doesn't make sense to me, but hey, to each's own. Live-N-Direct would love to hear what you thought about the 2010 Grammy's.

Behind These Prison Walls: If These Walls Could Talk Written
by Jerry "Mr. Live-N-Direct" Bagley

They say men lie, women lie, but the numbers never lie. And in relation to the sheer amount of numbers of young Black men and women incarcerated throughout the United States prison system (more than 50 percent of the estimated 2.3 million that's locked up), it is a staggering statistic when Blacks only account for 13 percent of the total U.S. population.  READ MORE >>>

          STEVE STOUTE- TRANSLATION MEDIA EMPIRE
I got a chance to build with one of my mentors and business icons while at P. Diddy's 40th birthday bash at the Plaza Hotel, Mr. Steve Stoute. He is one of the music industry's leading business minds that knows how to seamlessly fuse urban culture and the music with today's corporate America. From putting together major deals for Jay-Z (Reebok S. Carter) 50 Cent (G-Unit sneaker brand), Carol's Daughter (Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Mary J. Blige), and former road manager for Nas, Steve Stoute has done it all. Leading up to my one on one sit down interview for Live-N-Direct.TV, I thought this would be a fitting lead-in to show you how the mind of Steve Stoute works courtesy of theLifeFiles.net.

Finally! For all you male fashionisto's out there. Christian ouboutin's for us the everyday GQ male. And guess what fellas, the price of these studded bad boys will set you back a cool 1,200 dollars! That's right! You heard me right the first time! 1,200 dollars!

So, try and wrap your head around that one as you go to pay his month's rent! Lol! I never bought a 1,200 pair of name brand sneakers before. But I guess "it's not tricking if you got it".

DJ KHALED BIRTHDAY BASH AT MANSION NIGHTCLUB
by Jerry "Mr. Live-N-Direct" Bagley

A "Temple" by definition of Webster's Dictionary means: a holy  sanctuary, a place of worship, a place held to as being "divine".  Well, in Miami, it holds the same meaning. A place held to as being divine and is simply known as "The Temple". DJ Khaled's annual birthday bash at the legendary  Mansion Nightclub on Miami's South Beach.

And just like years in the past, this event would live up to its name  as a who's-who of celebrity bashes. With live performances by T-Pain,  Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Trina, Triple C's and hosted by Busta Rhymes,  Fat Joe, Briscoe, Ace Hood and so many more, the party rocked all the  way up til 4am in the morning.

DJ Khaled arrived at Mansion in his blue/gray Rolls Royce Phantom at  around 1am with a caravan of luxury vehicles in tow from Mercedes  Benzs to Range Rovers.  Once inside, it was on and popping. With DJ Infamous on the ones and  twos, the club would erupt as he played hit after hit. The Cristal,  the Grey Goose, and the Belvie was all overflowing in champagne glasses, as  the Dons and Divas alike celebrated in grand fashion.

Speaking with  Busta Rhymes regarding the event: "I just got off an 18 hour flight  from Tanzania. We're talking about half way across the world. But I still had to be here tonight cause my brother Khaled was celebrating his birthday!

Salute the God! We making history!" And history was indeed made. TV Johnny, celebrity jeweler to the stars  and Paul Wall's partner, E-Class from Poe Boy records and Briscoe was
all in the building. Performances began with T-Pain and then he was  joined by both Rick Ross and Khaled. Ross even took the time out to  debut for the first time ever, his verse on the remix to Diddy and  Dirty Money's smash single, "Angels" live to a soldout raucus crowd.

Then came ATL's finest, the Snowman himself, Mr. 17.5, Young Jeezy and Miami's baddest bitch to  follow, Trina.  Overall it was a great night of southern hospitality and Hip-Hop music. Khaled we can't wait to do it again next year! We The Best!!!  Who??? We!!!
