Lil Mo Rocks 80’s Babies Show Pt. 2 NYC Concert
The God Mother of Hip Hop and R&B Lil Mo rocked the 80’s babies show 2 in NYC, taking it back performing some of her greatest hits while also performing some of her new songs from her anticipated album soon to be released by HoneyChild Ent/Universal entitled “Tattoos and Roses”. The show was presented by D.J. Self of power 105.1 and hosted by Free of the Ed Lover morning radio show. The “80’s Babies” who were in attendance were up out of their seats singing along with Lil Mo as she tore the house down at the Nokia Theatre in NYC. There were other performances from SWV,Queen Penn, Junior MAFIA, Jagged Edge,Noreaga, all who performed a great show taking it back for those who were in attendance loving each moment.
Lil Mo “Tattoos and Roses” (The Rebellion Against Pain) expected in early 2010 is going to bring many to their feet as this is the real best of both worlds, this not only will be a double CD but you will get to visualize Ms Mo, as she’s been known as lately, live and in studio doing what she does best, singing into the hearts in souls of many.

Wow this Pleasure P shit is CRAZY! Everybody knows I'm very opinionated so I'll make a few comments and keep it moving. Real unfortunate situation for the family of the kids that was "allegedly" molested. I just hope God continues to shine his glory and light on them. Pray for them. Because they are the real victims in this situation. Not Pleasure P, not the Goldsteins, only these children. I understand the Goldsteins were backed into a corner and felt threatened or whatever. But to expose that child's name in those court documents just to prove a point about Pleasure P is really irresponsible. You might have been threatened or whatever, but lets really put this in perspective. Your dad ultimately took the case to represent Pleasure P or Marcus Cooper, or whatever you want to call him. If he was "so morally" principled about the hideous nature of these charges, he should have never taken the case. But he did because it was all about the "money" at that point. So lets not get in to why your dad is or isn't exposing Pleasure P. Because if Pleasure P would have paid your dad in FULL, we still might not have heard anything ever about this case. So really lets stop all the bullshit. It came down to money. Point blank. Your dad wanted to get paid, he didn't, so he blew the whistle on Pleasure P. And that's actually a good thing. I'm not mad at that, and I'm not mad at you or your father either. I just don't want this to be, lawyers family decides to do the right thing bullshit. Y'all are coming forward cause your family didn't get paid. Then of course, even more stupidity ensued on the behalf of Pleasure P's camp. How the fuck are you gonna call and threaten somebody knowing that first he's a lawyer, and then second, he knows the bones you have in your closet? That's almost as dumb as Tiger Woods calling the girl he cheated with and identifying himself over the phone, "Hey this is Tiger". How dumb can you really fucking be? But I'm actually glad you dummies did it cause again, if it wasn't for your stupidity, we might not have ever know these allegations about Pleasure P. So thank you stupid people in Pleasure P's camp. And as far as Pleasure P, you really should just hang it up. Your career in music is pretty much finished in my book. I can't really see you women now paying your hard earned money to go see a man that is a convicted child molester. I just can't see girls in the crowd screaming "Pleasure P the child molester is coming to the stage! He's fine girl!" I just can't see it. But hey, weirder things have happened. Some dumb ass females out there will rationalize it by saying "I just love his music". OOOKKKAAY...right. Its just the society we live in. Proof can be right in front of your eyes and people will still dispute it. Unbelievable. But whatever happened between Pleasure P and them kids, its in Gods hand to deal with it now. Somethings need otherworldly punishment that we can't punish enough down here on Earth. Some crimes are forgivable. But a crime against a defenseless child isn't one of them. So I don't have NO Pleasure P jokes cause this shit aint funny. Sad thing is I know Rex. This music industry is very small. Unfortunate situation homie. And the last thing I have to say is, I fucking commend them boys from Pretty Ricky. I have a new profound respect for them standing up way back then and actually kicking Pleasure P out the group and even making him travel with them in different cars cause they didn't support that shit he was accused of doing. I respect that. I don't care who you are, fans of theirs or not, as a man, you gotta respect that. Those are principles. Goldstein family pay attention! Those are moral principles. I know you heard a lot about the whole “Pretty Rickey/Pleasure P” child molestation drama. Well I am VERY close to the situation and BOTH parties and I want you to understand that it is ALL true. Not speculation or anything. He was convicted. The problem lies in Blue Star Entertainment, the label that housed and groomed Pretty Ricky. They paid a substantial amount of money to have these documents sealed back in 2006. The label wanted to keep the aura of Pleasure in the group and figured since he was signed basically for life that they would recoup the cost. Well, this was not the case as the other members of Pretty Ricky started separating themselves from Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper as time went on. This eventually lead to them riding in separate cars to shows, arguing amongst themselves to them even jumping him (Pleasure P) at one point. This lead to him leaving the group but he is still very much contracted to Blue Stars Entertainment for 5 albums. Here’s what happened: When he was 16 going on 17, he was left alone with his niece and nephew with whom he touched and penetrated with fingers on several occasions. His aunt noticed his niece complaining of her genital area hurting, when asked what happened she replied “Uncle Marcus keeps touching me and he hurt me”. Of course Marcus (Pleasure P) denied the allegations but the doctor found signs that she had vaginal damage and tearing. Charges were then pursued by the State of Florida. The incident happened in 2004 going into 2005. He served like 8 months, rehab and community service by time the trial came up. Marcus accepted a plea with the State of Florida and Joseph Smith who is the care giver of the niece and nephew which Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper molested. These are not the only papers filed against him. These are the first of 3. As part of the plea agreement Marcus plead guilty and paid an “undisclosed amount” to remain free and have the records “sealed” and on the family level for them to remain quiet and not to speak publicly about it. The “sealed document” means nothing other than “we won’t tell anyone it’s here..but if they find it they can have it” basically. The problem also is that Attorney Goldstein (Who represented Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper in the trial) has a daughter named Laura Goldstein who is also her fathers assistant. Marcus Cooper never completed his payments after the hearing to his attorney. Attorney Goldstein tried to reach out to Marcus only to be told “Don’t call this phone no more” on several occasions. This caused frustration on Attorney Goldstein’s ends due to the time & effort he put into this “special plea bargain” he negotiated that I don’t think ANY attorney could have done. After Attorney Goldstein threatened to sue Marcus Cooper the “alleged threats” became real from Coopers end. I have personally heard these messages and I know who they are from and they are very disturbing. Especially to an attorney who can use them against you. Laura Goldstein felt her father was not doing enough to stop the threats as they began to increase so she took to twitter (her twitter is @AGoldsteinGirl) to “expose” Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper in a way that was sure to make him “go away”. Now all the documents from the initial hearing have been released and there is plenty more evidence out there I assure you. Everyone involved including Spectacular (Pretty Ricky) have commented via twitter on the documents in shock thinking they would never get out. The next problem is whether Laura Goldsteins father will have to pay the ultimate price of getting disbarred for breaking Attorney Client Privilege or will it be deemed public domain? I don’t know, but I do know both parties and its about to get ugly. I will keep you up to speed if anything else jumps off.

Then to follow up that explosive Friday night, Sunday at Liv at the FontaineBleau also welcomed Sean Kingston and Lil Wayne. Death of Derrion Albert
A 16 year old boy by the name of Derrion Albert was beaten and killed in Chicago. Devastating footage of Derrion being assaulted and ultimately killed by other children his age was posted on-line, and frankly, the images are very unsettling to watch. It seems that more kids these days are killing each other senselessly. Right now Chicago is one of the targeted "hotspots" where gang violence, shootings and unsolved murders are taking place every day. Lets pray for the family of Derrion Albert, and for those that are falling victim to the harsh realities of survival on the streets. Please stop the violence.

3. California Love- A dedication to the Westside, which some would say is the best side. In Tupac's later years, Makaveli embraced the west coast as his new home. 4. 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted- Snopp Dogg with a murder case and Pac with a trumped up rape case. Both artists were beating legal cases left and right. You knew law enforcement couldn't be happy. LOL. And Tupac just got out on 1.4 million dollar bail. So you knew they really wasn't happy after that. The police just couldn't catch them. Talk about Teflon Dons. John Gotti eat your heart out. Two of Americas Most Wanted indeed.
5. Shed So Many Tears- Personally, my favorite Tupac song of all time. Spoke of lost homies. We all got one. "Got That Thug Life tatted on my chest! Can you feel me?" Enough said.
6. Keep Ya Head Up- Incredibly deep and inspiring song for our struggling black sisters everywhere to never give up. The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice indeed.
7. Picture Me Rolling- Laugh in the face of the police, the D.A. and all your enemies. Its my theme song. Love it.
8. Freestyle with Biggie and Big Daddy Kane live- When times was good between Biggie and Pac. I wish they never had that beef. Can you imagine where Hip-Hop would really be if they were able to get along.
9. Against All Odds- One of the truest rhymes that he ever wrote. An incredible battle rhyme. Hip-Hop lyrics at its rawest.
10. Ambitionz As A Rider- Straight up drive-by music. Real gangsta shit. No matter if you was from the East coast or the West coast, this is the epitome of raw Hip-Hop. Compelling lyricism with an instrumental that was perfectly crafted for the rhymes. Like a marriage made in heaven.
